
Mr. William H. Albrecht, III (Bill) has over 28 years’ business and leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare-service industries, and has held a wide spectrum of senior-level responsibilities in sales/sales management, marketing and business development. Mr. Albrecht spent 14 years with Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca, and his marketing achievements included the launches of Prozac® and Toprol-XL®, each of which attained blockbuster status and became the top-selling product for Lilly and AZ, respectively. Mr. Albrecht also served as the Marketing Director for a Boston-based biotechnology firm, and his key responsibilities included conducting the due diligence for compounds in development, and presenting his findings/recommendations to the Board of Directors. Since then, Mr. Albrecht has spent the past 12 years as a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry specializing in commercial valuations, market analyses and pipeline assessments, and serving as an expert witness in licensing disputes. Mr. Albrecht graduated with a double major in Chemistry and English from Bucknell University, and received his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Duke University.
